I’m Sue and I have been in the Image and Colour Business since 2004. I am an independent consultant, meaning I do not work for any of the larger image companies, which allows me to tailor each session to my client’s individual needs.

I trained in seasonal colour analysis with Colourflair of Brighton and then tonal analysis and ladies style with Improvability of Chesterfield. I enjoyed my training with Improvabilty so much that I went back and helped them film a training course that is now showing on a TV near you.

I first came across colour analysis in 1984 in Hong Kong. I was so impressed at how gorgeous all these ladies looked who had been to see Jan, the Chroma lady, that I went too. I was left with one silk blouse hanging in my wardrobe and an urgent need to shop.

We’ve moved on since then and part of my brief is to help clients use what is already in their wardrobe. Though one client did write this to me: “I’ve thrown out three bin bags of gear to the charity shop since my sitting with you.” To be fair, she did have at least six wardrobes full of clothes to begin with!
